Corporate governance

In its activities, Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC is based on the principles of a modern corporate governance system and evaluates corporate governance in three main components: structure, processes, and transparency.

According to the approved structure of the Fund, the general management of the company’s activities is carried out by the Board of Directors, which delegates the tasks of the company’s current activities to the Management Board headed by its Chairman. The responsibilities and competencies of the Board of Directors include developing and making decisions on key issues of the company’s long-term development that meet the objectives of ensuring the sustainable development of the Fund and the relevant provisions of the Fund’s Strategy.

The Fund is constantly improving its corporate governance policy and practice. The Fund has the Corporate Governance Code and the Code of Business Conduct that define the company’s values, as well as the fundamentals of its work and external communications.

Corporate social responsibility

In its activities, the Fund is guided by the principles of corporate social responsibility.

As part of the support for domestic producers, the Fund is steadily increasing the share of Kazakhstani content in terms of purchases of goods, works and services. In order to support young professionals, the Fund annually accepts students for internships and internships and, thus, annually contributes to the formation of professional staff. The initiative group of the Fund’s employees regularly provides assistance to socially vulnerable segments of the population on behalf of the company.
